Sarcoma Awareness Week 2016
The group arranged for a table to be in the foyer of the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. The aim was to raise awareness of sarcoma and raise money for both The R Charity and Sarcoma UK. We raised over £260 and had a great day too!

As part of Sarcoma Awareness Week, some of the group went to Snowdonia for the day. The idea was to raise awareness and get fit by climbing the mountain!

Sarcoma awareness week 2015
Some of us headed to The Palace Hotel in Manchester the to Sarcoma Talking Research event hosted by Sarcoma UK. A great day was had by all and we even met Richard Whitehead. There were guest speakers talking about the research that is going on in the world of sarcoma.

Donation in memory of Robert Page Brian Edmonson donated £235 in memory of his brother, Robert, who sadly lost his life after being diagnosed with sarcoma. The group would like to thank Brian and his family for being so generous and thinking of us during an extremely difficult and sad time. August 2014
Donation We have received a very kind donation of £400 from the lovely Keith Edwards at Eastham Refinery Limited where Rob used to work. A huge thank you for your very generous donation - it really does mean a lot to us here at the Support Group as this money will go a long way to covering costs to keep us running! |

Raising Awareness with Everton Football Club
Mr Chandrasekar and Jamie, from the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, have worked tirelessly to get local sports clubs to support the “Get checked when its a golfball – not a football” campaign. Mr Chandrasekar and patients met Tony Hibbert, who supported the campaign. The campaign featured in the Liverpool Echo.
